About us
Meet the Creative Bloq team, plus our contact details.
Creative Bloq is where creativity meets technology. We're the world's leading art and design site, and deliver a daily mix of news, advice and inspiration for creative people: including digital and traditional artists, web designers, graphic designers, 3D and VFX artists, illustrators, crafters and more.
We aim to keep you up-to-date with the latest global design trends and cutting-edge tech, remind you of the fundamentals that make creative work great, advise you on the best tools for your needs, and ultimately, help you create your best work.
Creative Bloq was founded in 2012. Over the years, we've been the home of legacy magazines Computer Arts, net, Web Designer, Paint & Draw and 3D Artist; today, we're the online space of leading 2D and 3D art magazines, ImagineFX and 3D World.
We're also the home of Vertex, the ultimate event for 2D and 3D artists, as well as the Brand Impact Awards, which celebrates the world's best branding.
Creative Bloq team
Georgia is lucky enough to be Creative Bloq's Editor. She has been working for Creative Bloq since 2018, starting out as a freelancer writing about all things branding, design, art, tech and creativity – as well as sniffing out genuinely good deals on creative technology. Since becoming Editor, she has been managing the site on a day-to-day basis, helping to shape the diverse content streams CB is known for and leading the team in their own creativity.
Rosie Hilder is Creative Bloq's Deputy Editor. After beginning her career in journalism in Argentina – where she worked as Deputy Editor of Time Out Buenos Aires – she moved back to the UK and joined Future Plc in 2016. Since then, she's worked as Operations Editor on magazines including Computer Arts, 3D World and Paint & Draw and Mac|Life. In 2018, she joined Creative Bloq, where she now assists with the daily management of the site, including growing the site's reach, getting involved in events, such as judging the Brand Impact Awards, and helping make sure our content serves the reader as best it can.
Ian Dean is Editor, Digital Art & 3D at Creative Bloq. With over 25 years' experience in both print and online journalism, Ian has worked on many leading video game and digital art brands, including ImagineFX magazine and Official PlayStation Magazine. Since joining the Creative Bloq team in 2021, Ian combines his loves of gaming and digital art to report on the latest news on video game art and tech, AI developments, as well as his new passion: Cricut and laser machines. In his spare time he doodles in Procreate, Corel Painter, ArtRage, and Rebelle while finding time to play Xbox, PS5 and PSVR 2.
Beren Neale is Creative Bloq's Ecom Editor, and has over 10 years' experience in both print and online journalism. Having previously edited legacy magazines Computer Arts and Paint & Draw, he's a passionate fan of all things art and design. He's involved in the ecommerce of the site, bringing creatives the best deals on the best kit, as well as advising them on products that are right for their needs. When he's not working on Creative Bloq's ecom strategy, he's out rock climbing or gaming (but never together!)
Daniel John is Senior News Editor at Creative Bloq. He reports on the worlds of art, design, branding and lifestyle tech (which often translates to tech made by Apple). He joined in 2020 after working in copywriting and digital marketing with brands including ITV, NBC, Channel 4 and more.
Erlingur is the Tech Reviews Editor on Creative Bloq. Having worked on magazines devoted to Photoshop, films, history, and science for over 15 years, as well as working on Digital Camera World and Top Ten Reviews in more recent times, Erlingur has developed a passion for finding tech that helps people do their job, whatever it may be. He loves putting things to the test and seeing if they're all hyped up to be, to make sure people are getting what they're promised. Though he still can't get his WiFi-only printer to connect to his computer.
Beth Nicholls is Creative Bloq’s Ecommerce Writer. An avid music photographer and previous staff writer for Digital Camera World, Beth has a keen eye for content and knows just how to create it. Her background working as a tester and sales assistant for CeX while at university provided five years of extensive knowledge surrounding the latest tech and popular gaming franchises. Pair this with her love of comic books and Marvel, and you have a total nerd with a Master's degree in Photography who wishes she was Peter Parker.
Natalie Fear is Creative Bloq's staff writer. With an eye for trending topics and a passion for internet culture, she brings you the latest in art and design news. A recent English Literature graduate, Natalie enjoys covering the lighter side of the news and brings a fresh and fun take to her articles. Outside of work (if she’s not glued to her phone), she loves all things music and enjoys singing sweet folky tunes.
Joe Foley is a regular freelance journalist and editor at Creative Bloq. He writes, news and features, updates buying guides and keeps track of the best equipment for creatives, from monitors to accessories and office supplies. A writer and translator, he also works as a project manager at a design and branding agency based in London and Buenos Aires, Argentina. He enjoys photography and wellness and also dances tango.
Magazine teams
Rob Redman is the editor of 3D World and ImagineFX magazines and has a background in animation, visual effects, and photography. As a 3D artist he created the mothership in the Webby winning Plot Device and was animator on the follow-up; Order up. He has created training for Cinema 4D and Blackmagic Design Fusion artists. He's been a published product and food photographer since the age of 15. As well as being a multi-instrumentalist, Rob is also an avid beard grower.
Henry is the Production Editor for ImagineFX and 3D World, responsible for proofreading the magazines’ fascinating features and in-depth tutorials, and ensuring the show runs smoothly. Before joining the team he worked as a sports writer and has produced content for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. If Henry’s not working, he’s probably playing video games, watching his favourite distinctly average football team, or plotting his next obscure holiday.
Daniel is Art Editor of ImagineFX magazine. He has over two decades of magazine publishing experience and has worked on a multitude of publications including MBUK, Official PlayStation Magazine, PSW, PC Gamer and Guitar Techniques. When Daniel is not designing pages or finding the best artists for ImagineFX, you can find him trying to be like Spider-Man at his local climbing wall, thrashing his heart out on Zwift or headbanging at a loud gig.
Ryan is 3D World’s Art Editor. Since making his start in publishing in 2016, he has worked on designs for everything from ancient history to modern photography. When not admiring the latest 3D creature sculpts, he can be found fawning over slick type treatment and alternative movie posters.

Affiliate & Advertising disclosure
We always aim to provide unbiased editorial created by our journalists and writers. We also need to pay our teams and website costs so we make money in a number of ways. We sometimes use affiliate links to products and services on retailer sites for which we can receive compensation if you click on those links or make purchases through them. From time to time we also publish advertorials (paid-for editorial content) and sponsored content on the site. When this is the case the content is clearly marked as sponsored or promoted, so you’ll always know which content is editorial and which is not. Future PLC is our parent company and has an in-depth terms and conditions page with a lot more information that you can read right here.
How we test and review
When we test products for our deep-dive reviews, buying guides and group tests we stick closely to a set of rules to ensure consistency and accuracy across the board. You can find these in our how we test and review guide.
We pride ourselves on honesty, independence and knowledge of a subject. Our reviewing team has decades of experience in the products they cover. They specialise and work in the sectors they review products for, so you can rest assured we test in real world scenarios.
For certain specialist reviews, such as laptops, desktop computers and workstations we run a range of industry-standard benchmarks and tests to determine a device's power, reliability, speed, economy and more. Each device is reviewed under the same test conditions and against the same standards and setup, so we get accurate and consistent results.
